Jazsmin Porchea is a twenty-year-old senior at Clemson University majoring in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy. She says “God is my life partner. It is in Him where I place all of my trust. I believe in perseverance, commitment, and driving every task across the finish line.” Jazsmin grew up in the humble country town of Hemingway, South Carolina where her parents encouraged the importance of hard work, integrity, and education. She credits their guidance to contributing to all of the great opportunities and amazing accomplishments that she has achieved.
She lives by the rule “live, love, and laugh” and consistently strives to do her best, while enjoying life and taking in every moment. Jazsmin also recognizes the unwavering commitment that is crucial to being successful. She has accomplished goals that started out as mere dreams and is prepared for many more leaps and bounds as she continues to achieve a higher learning and strive to achieve goals that previously seemed impossible.
Jazsmin enjoys reading, sketching, writing poetry and short stories, and shopping with her family. This South Carolina beauty and scholar graduated valedictorian of her high school class. She plans to attend Georgetown University Law School in Washington D.C. and then continue on her journey by becoming a district attorney and ultimately a U.S. Supreme Court Justice.
